Biographie
Alfio Origlio est né en 1967.
Ce musicien, reconnu par ses pairs comme l’une des grandes figures de la scène française jazz française, est avant tout guidé, dans tous ses projets, par la passion.
Il collabore avec les plus grands artistes et musiciens de la scène française et internationale : Salif Keïta, Manu Katché, André Ceccarelli, Stacey Kent, Michel Jonasz, Gregory Porter, Didier Lockwood, Stéphane Eicher, Ernie Watts, Michel Colombier, Fred Wesley, Henri Salvador, Bobby McFerrin, Michel Legrand, Natalie Dessay, Keziah Jones, Me’shell Ndegeocello, Chris Potter, Erik Truffaz, Daniel Humair, Pierre Bertrand, Sting, Alain Caron, Paul Brochu, Raul Midon, David Binney...
Au delà des collaborations nombreuses et prestigieuses, Alfio Origlio compose pour ses propres projets. Il a enregistré quatorze albums en tant que leader : Live Five, Alfio Origlio quartet, Passeggiata, Ricordo, Ascendances, Wings and notes, Acqua, Tribute to Headhunters, Walk in Wake, Absyrations, Bogota Airport, Secret Places, Piano et Memories.
